As a skilled communications expert, I bring a wide range of skills and a diverse perspective to every project. Over the last 10 years, I've worked in technology and nonprofits. I've focused on internal communications, content marketing, email marketing, and nonprofit communications.
I'm deeply invested in my work and thrive on projects with the potential to make a positive impact on people. Most recently, I've supported internal communications in the technology industry by building intranet content, communicating employee benefits, exploring workplace strategies, crafting ESG reports, and sharing stories that reflect an inclusive workplace culture. I love understanding and sharing the stories behind how an employee experiences an organization.

The personal bits
I'm a native Texan, born and raised, and call the Dallas-Fort Worth area home. I live with my husband (who makes an exceptional cup of coffee), our three children, and our three dogs. I value meaningful experiences and relationships. I'd rather have one good conversation than work a room. I love spending time outdoors, and I'm lucky the best view is often right in my own backyard.
A few years ago, my family navigated a difficult season when my oldest son was diagnosed with a rare childhood cancer. I stepped away from my full-time position to be there for him.
Today, he's thriving, and I joined the freelance world to balance my family's needs while continuing to make a positive impact on others through storytelling. It's an honor to partner with businesses to create communications that tell their story and drive action.
